Create a Go-To Happy Playlist ♡

Hello my loves,

Everything I listen to (on a regular basis) is happy. I refuse to listen to anything else because music is the easiest way to control your mood. It can be super hard to snap out of a sad mood and become happy; so music is the first thing I turn to when I feel down.

I think its very important for everyone to have a “Go-To Happy Playlist” on hand for when a little extra motivation is needed. Find 5-10 songs that really resonate with you and get you into a joyous mood. Combine them into a playlist and call it, “My Happy Songs”. Then commit to listening to it whenever you feel down, annoyed or just a little bit off track. You will be surprised by how fast your mood will have changed after that 5th song.

In case your mind is blank and you can’t think of any songs, I’ve decided to share my playlist. So below you will find my go-to happy songs. I hope this inspires you to create your own and to take control of your emotions.

Seek out Challenges!

Pushing yourself to learn and seek out challenges, is one of the best ways that you can show your mind some love. The mind likes moving forward (well technically the ego does) and when we learn and grow, our minds are given a sense of peace. I’m assuming that this is where the expression “peace of mind” has came from. This then leads us to a place of self love and appreciation and that is exactly where we want to be. 😛

My “Goal Ring”.

Today’s blog is focused on helping you “Love Your Mind”. The mind can be very forgetful, and so if we plan ahead (write in an agenda or create an object to help you remember), then you may find yourself loving your mind more, and essentially loving yourself more. Today I am going to tell you about this object that I created called, “The Goal Ring”.

The Goal Ring was created to help me remember my goals so that I didn’t fall off track.  I came up with this idea about 5 years ago now when I went on a girls trip to NYC. I was in a very good place in my life and I wanted to find a souvenir that could help me remember my goals and stay on track.
