In September 2015, I discovered this incredible book called Fire In the Heart by: Deepak Chopra. For many years it has been sitting on my bookshelf and for some reason, up until recently, I didn’t think much of it. Probably, because for many years, I was very focused on my book addictions such as, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and Twilight.

In all seriousness though, I have been a big fan of every and all self help book in existence; so it was surprising to me that I hadn’t yet covered this one.

Introducing the newest Just Love team member… <3

Happy Monday to all you Just Love readers out there!

My name is Julie and I am so honoured to be writing for the Just Love motivational Monday post for today!!

So first off? Who got up early this morning? …And early isn’t a set time that I want to define. By early, I mean, who got up at a time where they felt refreshed, excited for the day (hard on a Monday, I know), energized and at a time that was good for you.

I’ve recently struggled with poor sleep hygiene and I’m sooo not a morning person. I’d like to be, and I hope I can be (more on that later ?), but I’ve learned that we can’t obsess too much about the numerical time, but more so the time that feels good to us and our souls.

For those of you who did get up “early” today, I’m so proud of you! Didn’t you get to accomplish so much more throughout your Monday?! And for those of you who didn’t, don’t worry. And I mean that in the most sincerest way possible. Just Love is going to help you get there! Luckily I had plans to meet with the lovely Melissa Melottey this morning at 9am which realistically turned in to 9:35am because well we just accepted life for what it is. So basically read this quote (below), get inspired and stay tuned for some amazing tips and tricks to better your sleep hygiene!

Create a Go-To Happy Playlist ♡

Hello my loves,

Everything I listen to (on a regular basis) is happy. I refuse to listen to anything else because music is the easiest way to control your mood. It can be super hard to snap out of a sad mood and become happy; so music is the first thing I turn to when I feel down.

I think its very important for everyone to have a “Go-To Happy Playlist” on hand for when a little extra motivation is needed. Find 5-10 songs that really resonate with you and get you into a joyous mood. Combine them into a playlist and call it, “My Happy Songs”. Then commit to listening to it whenever you feel down, annoyed or just a little bit off track. You will be surprised by how fast your mood will have changed after that 5th song.

In case your mind is blank and you can’t think of any songs, I’ve decided to share my playlist. So below you will find my go-to happy songs. I hope this inspires you to create your own and to take control of your emotions.
